Hi all,
Last night I noticed my 7 week gosling Peggy has developed a lump on the bottom of her bill, I actually took a photo of her 1 hour prior and no lump was there so it must have come up within that time space.
It doesn’t seem to bother her, you can touch it and it’s soft with a small bump, she’s eating l, drinking and acting the exact same.
I checked her mouth as best as I could and there’s no sharp obstruction that I can see.
She was playing in a stream at dusk prior to the lump appearing, is it possible she’s been bitten? Or could it be an abscess? But it seems such a small amount of time for an abscess to appear. Any ideas would be great! I’ve left her overnight and it seems unchanged, photos attached
