layer crumbles? Momma & her brood are free ranging now and they sometimes stop in at the big girls feeder & eat a little layer crumble. They still eat medicated chick grower in their nursery.
Will a little bit of layer crumble do them any harm? I believe two out the three chicks are roosters.

Layer will damage a baby chick's kidneys. Feed them starter only. The Mama can eat starter, too. Just put out oyster shell in a separate container so she can get calcium as she needs it.
