7 week old black copper maran. Pullet or cockerel?

I got this little black copper maran from a friend who went overboard at the feed store. The store claimed that it was a pullet but I’m concerned that’s it’s a cockerel. I need a second opinion please.

That’s what I was thinking as well. I just don’t have any experience with this breed so I wanted a second opinion. Thank you

Cant girls have pink abit too and a comb males usually have larger combs and redy pinky?

I'm not gonna jump to cockerel quit yet. Most BCM in my experience show a HUGE and very very bright red comb at 3 weeks, at lasted 4. Waiting this long to show that comb and till hardly any wattles? I'm a bit hesitant. Could just be a late blooming boy as that comb is awfully large. @Overo Mare?

honestly...i would say pullet and i have a bunch of those. the pink comb is very light and not red with no matching red waddles at 7 weeks...however, hard to say

Same, I'm on the fence. BCM usually have larger combs so I'm leaning towards pullet. I dont see any waddles so that makes me hopeful.
