one more question, if you please. Should I do every waterer with Corid? The flock is free range and there are multiple water stations. There are twelve 2-year olds (1 is a rooster, 1 is a hen with two 1-week old chicks, 10 hens) and eight chicks that will be 8 weeks old on Monday - that includes Domino - the chick this thread is all about and the one she's rooming with in the pen. And if you recommend treating the whole flock, what about the eggs? OK to eat or not?

Also, I found this thread today from 2012 that sounds EXACTLY like Domino! What do you guys think?

Could just be something internally wrong with her unfortunately. Most sick chickens don't recover despite treatment.

You were correct - she died a few weeks back and I did a necropsy and found a roofing nail in her gizzard. Also her neck had a twist in it, but nothing to do with her death. Thanks for the update. I read an occasional report of goofy things in chickens crops, so I always think of stuff like that when a chicken isn't feeling well. Sorry she didn't make it, but it's good to know why and that you couldn't have done anything for her anyways.
