Hello everyone, this is the first time writing here, i'll try to give as much info as i can

1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
7 week old appenzeller spitzhauben, feels pretty normal weight, has been growing fine.

2) What is the behavior, exactly.
3 days ago her right leg was looking a bit off but not really limping, ran around with others, acted normal. 2 days ago the leg started dropping to her hock when she put weight on it. Now she keeps the leg straight, bending the knee seems to hurt and toes are not grabbing and seem limp. No swelling, redness or unusual temperature in legs, i can move the joints as usual. Eats and drinks okay.

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms? See above

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
No

5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
No

6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
The little girl is basically a whippet in a chickens body so anything could've happened. The appenzellers are always super lively, loud and all over the place

7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
Normally

8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
Poop looks normal

9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
Put her to her own box to limit movement, got extradose of multivitamin that has selenium, b-vitamin complex, meloxicam for pain and wrapped the hock to see if stabilizing it would help, as it was bending out a little, might have helped a little bit, not sure.

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
Vets here dont really treat chickens, so i'm going to do what i can before i make the final decision

11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
No pictures right now, but as it looks and feels normal, not sure if they would help

12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
Bedding is pine shavings, they have been in a play pen, not slippery at all.

So any ideas what it could be? Marek's is possible, i guess, but i feel like the leg hurts, not sure if that is consistent with marek's? She does not have balance issues really, just the leg being a problem. She has been a bit sleepy at times before but that i've linked to growing as she would've grown a LOT during the night
