7 Week Old Chicks Won't Go Into Coop

I was very surprised that mine took to the dark just fine.

So far I've had the best luck with these chickies - hope it continues!!

thanks for the night light idea. were getting ready to put our 6wk chicks in coop.any thoughts on deep liter method ?

Put a window in the coop so it isn't completely dark at dusk. Then catch them and shove them in for a couple of nights--by the third night they should get the hint. They should be putting themselves to bed before it gets completely dark.
