Hi,

I recently picked up two Polish chicks, and while I’m confident the other is a girl - I’m not positive on this one. I’ve tried to give as many angles. Their hair just isn’t as rounded and poofy as the other. Thanks!

Do you think you could get some close up comb pics without fencing blocking it? But I'd say girl for now.

It's a non-bearded Polish, so look at the comb and wattles. Small, pale comb and wattles point to a pullet, bigger redder ones point to cockerel.

What color variety is this bird? Splash?

It kinda looks white crested blue.

I’ll try to get some pics without fencing after work today. Comb and wattles are quite pale. I’m not sure what color variety - it’s sibling is all black except for a white splotch on her crest.

Okay. Sometimes the coloring can help determine sex, but I don't think that will work with this one. Gotta go by comb/wattles. If they are pale then that is a good sign if you are wanting a pullet.

I am hoping for a pullet, but I would be okay with a roo. I was just planning on getting a roo soon but I didn’t want to wind up with more than one later and have to get rid of one.
