As long as you've weaned them off heat they're good to go.
Oh my goodness no! Most of us would go nuts at having to keep them inside for so long. My last chicks went directly outside at 2 days old (with heat and draft protected brooder), never came into the house even for a minute.
I was under the impression that you are supposed to wait until they are fully feathered to put them outside, approximately 12 weeks.
