Out of 8 BBS Orpington chicks everone was growing like crazy, and just as I was going to put them outside I noticed that one of the bigger ones was having trouble standing/walking.
No other signs of Cocci or anything else. He/she appears healthy, eats a lot, drinks well. This is one of the biggest chicks. If you didn't look closely you would just think that he/she is resting.
So when I went to put them all outside in a different pen that is when I reallized that something wasn't quite right.
Any ideas on what this could be? It almost tlooks like when I grew Cornish Rocks and they were so heavy that it was hard for them to walk.
He likes to rest on his hocks. No paralysis or one leg out at any angle.
Any idea and what to treat with. It has been a week and he is not gettiang any worse and may be just a tad better.
Thank you
