7 week old TSC pullet bin chick, what am I?

Are you RIR's lighter than the ones pictured above? Do they have some black in their tails?

Mine are only about 3 weeks old, and they are about a shade lighter than than the chicks that are pictured, and yes, they have some black in their tails and their wings

Well, let me re-phrase, they are the same color as your chicks, but lighter than the chicks posted by Fred's Hens

Thanks proudchickiemom! Her black is mainly in her tail. But, maybe the hatchery uses RIR's in their sex link crosses. Dunno!

yeah, pretty much looks like mine too. They at TS said mine are Red Rangers, but I'm assuming that's just a production red hybrid... you know. Not much out there on Red Rangers. Usually brings up hockey when you google it lol

I think it is a production RIR too...or a true RIR...not 100%
