7 week old TSC pullet bin chick, what am I?

Edwina is now 7 weeks old. She was in a pullet bin that said she could be one of the following: Amberlink, White Leghorn, Commercial Black, Red Sex Link, Golden Comet, Tetra Tint.
Is she a Red Sex Link?

Thank you! Edwina loves her people!!! She always comes running when we come in or she sees us in the window!!! Tries to get as close to us as possible!

She looks like a Production Red to me, a Red sex-link usually have a lot of patchy white on their wings.

Production Red type. True RIR has deep mahogany in color and have brick shaped bodies. Hatcheries rarely, if ever, sell true RIR.






Red Sex Links have much more white under feathers and patches of white, here and there.

Edwina certainly was not that dark as a baby like the RIR chicks and is not that dark, what I call a mahagony as a 7 week old. I wonder if she will get more white in her as she gets older? I do notice white feathers under her wings.


Hmmm... I have gone back out to look at Edwina. It is hard to see in the photo, but her tail does have some black feathers in it! Does a Red Sex Link have ANY black feathers with the white?
