7 week white crested polish roo?

We ordered a white crested polish pullet through Meyer hatchery and now I’m thinking it could possible be a roo. I know Polish can be difficult to sex. I keep going back and forth!

Probably a cockerel with the wattles growing in so early, but I would give it a couple of more weeks to be sure.

That’s what I was thinking! Normally I can’t even see its waddles but when you pick it up, they turn red.

That is just heightened blood pressure from the chick being frightened by being picked up, but yes, the presence of wattles is concerning. But they are not that large, which is why I think it is worth giving this little one a couple of more weeks.
