7 weeks; BR and RIR, roo or pullet?

Here is the Barred Rock in question;

For comparison, this is her "sister", same batch of chicks.

The second chick's stripes are much more defined. The first has a lighter overall color and a more erect tail. The first is also larger.

They are both pullets.

Agree, I see all pullets. Of my two BR's, same exact age, one matured a little faster then the other, had more comb growth, more red in the face earlier. The barring on your suspect is very pullet. BR roo's have much wider white barring. RIR is pullet also.

I would also agree both pullets, but your second barred rock appears to have whitish legs, could she actually be a cuckoo marans?
