I have 10 of these Rhode Island Reds (atleast thats what I've been told, that they are purebred RIR and definite pullets) but I'm not sure by looking at them, mostly they all look like these two, here are some pics of two of them.

Help is appreciated always...

look like pullets to me ... purebred RIR's I couldn't tell you one way or the other. Did you buy them from someone or from a store or where?

Both pullets!

I've heard that if they aren't purebred, they will have black feathers in their wings. I think that's once they reach adulthood, though.

You have Production Reds, not RIR. RIR are a much darker red. It's a common mistake

The one in the 1st pic is definitely a cockerel, but I would wait a couple more weeks to decide on cockerels or pullets.

Yeah I saw real RIRs they are more darker, but it looks they are almost extinct, since these are also Purebred, means atleast they are not cross breed.

RIR are definitely not almost extinct,

there are lots of breeders out there. Go to a poultry show you'll see lots!
