This lovely baby came from a heritage breeder. Very friendly. Got her at about a week old and has always had a pretty big comb and a huge tail. The comb is what worries me, is she a little he??

Oh yay that makes my day! This one is my favourite out of the bunch. Always loves to sit on my shoulder.... ate my earrings today however... but that’s ok, lucky she’s cutePullet I'm pretty sure. Mine looked like that at that age!![]()
That is what has me so confused also! The breeder sells her ‘pullets’ at 9 weeks so I’m assuming it will be obvious by then. I will do up date photos thanks for replying! The comb says cockerel... the coloring says pullet... I'm on the fence. Can you post more pictures in a few weeks?![]()
It’s the colouring that has confused me the most. And at 7 days he already had a big comb. Does the fast feathering mean anything with this breed? With that comb size, it is 100% a cockerel. Sadly, I am not confident it is of heritage line either. Roosters of that kind have much finer and lighter colored barring, similar to this bantam of the same breed I used to have.
