Hi all!!!

I have a batch of chickens that are a little over 7 weeks old. I have a BLRW, who I don't know the gender of.

And here is my unknown chicken. I believe she's a female, since she has almost no comb/wattles and there is no redness there, but I don't know what breed she is. She has green feet/shanks and some gray feathers mixed in. I think she was the "free rare chick" included in my order from Murray McMurray.

Bits of gray in her feathers:

Thanks so much!

Thank you so much!!!

I realized that there was a typo -- my chickens are 7 weeks old, not 17 -- but I still think my BLRW could be a pullet.
Are Easter Eggers the only breed with green shanks/feet?

There are other breeds that can or should have have green or willow feet, EEs are just the most common. If from McMurray your girl is probably an EE, they usually have beard and cheek puffs but occasionally they do not, looks like you got one of the clean faced ones. Hopefully she'll lay a pretty green egg for you, their EEs tend to be really good layers.
I don't know about the BLRW, it has a little more red in it and more wattle and comb development than I like to see in a seven week old pullet.

I agree! The BLRW does have a bit more red. Oh well. Thanks so much for the helpful info about green feet and EEs. That's so helpful! Indeed, my mystery bird doesn't have cheek tufts, but I might have gotten a clean faced one. :D
