7 year old rooster

Can any one tell me if my rooster is to old to make a fertile egg

Just as hens decline in fertility as they age, so do the males. At age 7, it is quite likely his best days are well behind him. Check the fertility of a random sample of eggs. Look for the bullseye.

I was afraid of that the reason I asked is because I have a turkey that we always thought it was a tom until she started laying eggs well we have no tom and she is sitting on 14 eggs so I was wondering if she would sit on chicken eggs

Thank you for the info I thought he was to old to help I have a turkey sitting on 14 unfertile eggs I thought she might sit on chicken eggs instead any thoughts on that
