Day 7 candle revealed all 4 pure AC are growing and moving around in the shells. And the 2 AC crosses are are also doing well. they all make it to lockdown and hatch.

A hammock might work in the coop if I could keep them from roosting on me.
I do have a free supply to spent grain for them to eat whenever I can get to my friend to pick it up. Work has been so busy lately I have not been able to get there. I take them eggs when I can as there's quite the list of people to get this stuff.

Ok today is day 7 of my chicken eggs out of the 29 set 6 were duds. So my roos are doing there jobs!! But i dont have the candeling pics like u all get. i dont see movement or vein. Just a larger lump in the eggs and not much in the air sac. But its really hard to see through my eggs. There really thick. Think my girls are eating to many oyster shells lol.

I'm curious - how long do people spend looking at an egg while candling? I've looked for development - but never really spent much time watching for movement or heartbeats...

I just spent about 5 seconds looking in each egg. If I could not see life I looked twice that before throwing.

The room I have the incubator in is occupied by my daughter who is visiting us this weekend or I'd go candle again.
