Yeah it is very long

And I'm trying to get a specific color and I won't know if it is that color until the feathers start to come in at about 2 weeks. There is a 1 in 4 chance of it being that color

Do you only get one at a time? It could take a long time to get the color you want.

Well pigeons lay 2 eggs every few weeks but I am only letting them hatch one so I don't get too many pigeons... they are addicting

. I am going to a big pigeon show in January so hopefully I will get one. The pigeon in my avatar is the color I want more of

Chickens are also very contagious. I've personally infected 4 people at work with them. 2 of the four have it so bad chicken math has taken over. All I did was give them some fresh eggs.

Well I fostered the egg under another pair of pigeons, not sure if they have it in lockdown yet or not

. So I'm just waiting for it to hatch... then I have to wait until it grows feathers and starts walking at like 3 weeks old

. Pigeons are less exciting then baby chicks that are fuzzy and can run around right away.

BUT it is still so exciting waiting for it to hatch!

I think it will hatch January 2, but it might hatch the 1st. Some pigeon eggs only take 17 days and some take 19.

I expected a different model, but I don't care cause this bator is awesome!
