Cool. I am in the north end of the county, Pleasant Grove. I really didn't post much in the past, so that is probably the reason why. Thanks for the head up on the Idaho/Utah FB page.Arizona is good too! lol In fact, I love it when I see something I want from Arizona..because it's one of the better areas to order from. Also remember, if you are getting them from e-baby, always, always check their feed back. If they aren't getting eggs to folks in a timely manner, people will always let you know!![]()
I'm in Utah county too, Spanish Fork. Have you been on the Utah thread and I just haven't seen you yet? I don't get on there as much as I used to, I go to the Idaho/Utah Chicken place on fb. It's a great place to find eggs, sell chicks, and meet people!

My eggs shipped from North Carolina to California and arrived very quick. eBay said it would arrive in two days but post office said arrival was a week putting it way past HAL start. They made it under two days. Total shock especially after reading every ones shipping woes. I have been in contact with this seller since May. We have shared many tips which to me is more valuable than the cost of the eggs. Another thing I liked was the amount of roosters they had in their flock. Also the eggs moved fast they would ship 14-18 per week per order. When putting phone number on package for holding at the post office be sure to stop into to post office to let them know they are coming. When I did they told me they don't even watch for information like that on the box. They gladly held them there for me even asking for pictures of the chicks when they hatch!
North Carolina ey? May have to try from that state sometime if I see something I may want to try.
My P.O....knows me. LOL...they see a big box, and call me.![]()

Great pics! That's with your home made candler, right?
LOL, my post office knows me for a different reason. We have the WORST POST MAN in the history of postmen. I live up on a hill. It's a great post office, just a horrible delivery guy. There is a T intersection at the bottom of my driveway. It's a 3 way stop at the exit. The mailbox is at that intersection. Our postman, instead of taking boxes up the driveway, leaving them inside our open gate or taking them back to the post office, he leaves them ON TOP OF THE MAILBOX, for all the world to see and/or steal. After a dozen phone calls, emailed complaints, written complaints, I went in and made an in person complaint. Now there is a HUGE yellow card in the sorting box for my area that says to hold ALL boxes. Every once in a while, he still leaves one on top. When he does, I have to go back and file new complaints. They recognize me now when I walk in the door.....it's kind of sad, last time I went in to do regular business, as was waiting in line, the manager came out to check if I had another complaint or not.
I'm hoping if this guy gets enough complaints, they will transfer him somewhere else.
Great set up...can I ask what kind of light bulb you have in there?Yes, lol, the one that Sally didn't know what to think of. My hubby made if for me. I have used it for yrs. I can see really well into those eggs with this...thing.![]()
Made with a big bean can, the handle from a flood lamp, and a card board piece on top..nope it doesn't get hot on the card board, the can will if I take a while candling. He soldered the handle onto the can. I am hands free when I candle, expect to tune the egg.

My post-lady knows me, too. She called last time I got shipped eggs and said, "I'll bring them right over if you're home." Nice lady. I wasn't home, but my Dad was visiting and was at the house at the time. He said she walked up to the door holding the package like it was a bomb.![]()
