I have 8 out, one zipping right now, 2 pipped since this morning, one that hasn't pipped that I'm worried about, and a while back I had an early quitter, and one baby got killed by one of our dogs by accident. Well, at least 11/14 are alive, 2 died, 1 unsure. Pretty good for a first hatch!

I can already tell I'm gonna be a hatchaholic, and my dad hears my mom and I egg shopping online, and he's been yelling all day, "I'm Not Gonna Build Another Coop!" and my Mom told him, "Then I'll just buy one of these expensive ones!" He shut up fast.

Exactly. I dunno. I got them from a friend, but she just likes the cool breeds, has only one of everything she has, and has no idea on any of them. Her two Roos are crossbreeds, and I identified 10/12 of her hens just because I know, but still, I don't really know.
