7th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2016 Hatch-A-Long

THIS MINI MAGLITE ROCKS!
I havent had any BCM's to try yet but RIR and Sexlinks I have NO problem with
Around$20 and the size is PERFECT for candling
Comes in handy on the farm instead of dragging around my 4D cell fullsize

Ok...going to the city tomorrow and I just finally found your flashlight on the third website I looked at. Here this same flashlight is $59.98!

I don't think I'll be buying this particular flashlight.

But I have a question...is it the higher the lumens, the better?

I found an 850 lumen light for $11.88, a 700 lumen with focusing for $19.99 and pair of 500 lumens in the $19 range.

But then I also see one that's 264 lumens for $64.17 and one that's $314 for 1317 lumens. (I'm not interested in these, ESPECIALLY not the last one. I don't need it to do my taxes and clean my house...I just wanna see in the blue/tan eggs at 14 days.)

That's crack prices!
I would buy it online wally world
Higher lumens equals more brightness/intensity.
Yellow light is better, but there is so much light it just overcomes.
You can use cheapie harbor freight flashlights.

Good morning Yokel. :hugs

My daughter got me a headlamp for Christmas two years ago. Hangs by the barn door great for chores in dark mornings. This year she got me a steel for sharpening knives. Great for butchering time.

Do you sell all that milk? Don't know if I caught what you did with it.

Quote: I have some chocolate project eggs that would produce a more appropriate sized cockerel for your project, and they may even carry the blue egg gene, too.

The cockerels would be mauve or mauve splash. Those particular girls are not laying at the moment (1 molting, 1 went broody), but they should start up again soon. If you want, I can let you know when I have some eggs from them.

That's quite the collection of Isbars and SFH you have I like them. I'm hoping the Altsteirer that hatched for me this HAL works well for me as far as a good medium/smaller chicken that lays well. All reports from breeder bodes well. You mentioned the Isbars as a good one as well, I'll have to keep that in mind.
