8.5 weeks old Hen or Roo

I have an 8.5 week old barred rock (I think). It is the only one I purchased

straight run so I am trying to figure out what gender it is.

Not a purebred Barred Rock. Definitely a pullet.

It has a white earlobes?
The color and size of the comb say pullet
But the bright yelow color and the bulkiness of the shanks say cockerel.
I am not sure.

I’m going to say cockerel- thick legs, extra white in the barring, early comb development, and stature.

The white isn't being caused by a double copy of the barring gene though. It's due to silver partridge genes with the addition of a barring gene. She'll probably end up looking similar to this hen.

Not sure of cross. I got her from Tractor Supply. The worker said a "broiler rock" but I just figured he meant barred rock.
She may also appear very yellow because I had just cleaned off her legs.
