8-9 week old Easter Egger. Gender?

8-9 weeks old. Originally I was told it was a whiting true blue but now I’m thinking it’s an Easter Egger. Thoughts on gender?
Can you splay the wings out and see if they are all the same length or if there is a “step” to the wing. I am new to chickens but read that the wings with a step to them are the girls. Doesn’t work with all breads though. Stilll learning. I have two green queen Easter eggers but they are only 10 days old.

I think cockerel, one with unusual blue legs.

I have the option to easily rehome the bird and pick up a pullet of something else at a nearby farm. I’m just wondering if I should do that or wait to be more certain.

I would wait until you are more certain, because it would be unnecessary to rehome it if it does turn out a pullet.

Usually only works for chicks under a week. That is likely a rooster, BTW.
