I don't know about betting 100% for sure but my young roo definitely had pointy hackle and saddle feathers around the 10week age

Looks like a pretty red comb at this age, I go with cockerel as well.

Possibly pointy feathers, but not male-specific feathers.
It's true the feathering is soft and pullet-like at the moment, but in a few weeks he'll start getting some shiny male feathering in.

Buff Orpington do like to confuse us, but there's no doubt this one is male.
