I caught all 8 chicks dirt bathing today in the corner of the run. I went back into the house to grab the camera and they did not move an inch when I returned.

My poor little D'Uccle is underneath the Brahma's behind and getting buried alive.

Here is a photo of my run. The coop is inside the garage. We are not quite finished with the run. We are adding more shade this weekend and need to buy more wire for under the lattice on the end. Since there is no more grass in the run, we are adding a door on the other side of the run for the girls to have supervised free range time.

Mine do that too. I think that they are certain if one starts bathing there that it is the absolute perfect spot and they MUST have that spot also.
