Looks to me like he has a beard. I'd say he's an EE crossed with a Red Pyle game bird... the girls too. They sure are pretty!

Lacy Blues, I have never heard of a red pyle. I am really excited and cant wait to see him fully mature. He totally has the marking of a red pyle. I wonder if the hatchery i got them from has some red pyle running around. or if they use some game bird genes to keep there EE's gamy. I should call and ask them since red pyles are not listed on there web site.

jerseygiantlove, Chickens are so crazy i can see those Yokohama traits in him as well. he already is starting to get those sweeping long tail feathers that hang down which the red Pyle doesn't have. yet the neck color and wing color is red pyle or gold sex link. man this is so confusing. ha ha.. Shoot he could be a Yokohama cross with a red Pyle . lol.

The 3rd bird is an Red Old English Game Bantam Hen,





And Lacy Blues got it right with the cross ee and Red Pyle Game Bantam. The more pics i search and see, the roo totally is a red pyle those red/gold drooping tail feathers at the base of the white tail are just now starting to come in. And that beard gives away his ee cross and the hens have the salmon chest and neck also. So im sold thank you sooo much everyone. Now im sad i dont have an ee roo.
