8 horses missing....now found

I have a pasture leased next to a national forest. Today all 8 horses went missing and the gate in pieces.
After getting the truck stuck, diving down a road/trail, looking for 5 hours we followed tracks to a deep creek.
Went home and unloaded hay, hauled 2 geldings and set off looking for them.
About 2 miles from the farm we found them...
Can you tell I had a really bad day...
