This auction is for 8+ LF Blue/Black/Splash English Orpington straight run day old chicks. These are from the Marc Sacre lineage. These chicks will hatch on Monday, June 16, 2014 and will ship Express Mail on the same day for a flat rate of $50.00 unless you elect for pick-up. Pick-ups must be made within one (1) week of hatch date. If you order other chicks from us on the same date, there will only be the one flat rate of $50.00 for all chicks ordered, no limit. We do reserve the right to suspend your ship date for our next hatch date which is set for Monday, June 30, 2014 in the instance of any unforeseen circumstance.
Large Fowl Orpingtons in general are a popular dual-purpose variety, weighing between 7 and 10 pounds and laying an average of 200 eggs per year. They have the beautiful loose feathering which makes them appear to be heavier than their true weights. Their quiet and gentle disposition makes them a backyard favorite.
We are NPIP Certified and test our flocks twice per year for both Avian Influenza and Pullorum. All chicks are vaccinated for Marek's prior to leaving our farm.
