8 month old speck sussex and bl sexlink not laying yet?!?

I have 3 suxssex also that are doing exact same thing, not laying eggs, they are 9 months old and have never laid eggs, I have 4 golden comets that eat same food and free range the same and I get 4 eggs a day everyday faithfully, so I don't figure it's their food.

Sussex take longer to mature and need to be kept on a higher protein feed until their bodies are fully matured and developed. Starting layer too soon will slow down their development even more.
Red sexlinks are fast developing, and start laying sooner.

I just stated with Speck sussex and my breeder told me 7-10 months before they start and could be up to a year since the shorter winter days light can slow it down.
