8 muscovy ducklings were found along a road and brought to the wildcare center near Norman OK. There are 4 older ones and 4 younger ones - all kinds of pretty colors. They are looking for a good home and do not all have to go together. We cannot place them with someone who will use them for dinner, sell them, or use them for a breeding business due to the nonprofit rescue status of the wildlife center. We would want to know how you will try to keep them safe, especially at night. If you are interested in some or all of these guys, please respond, PM me, or email me. Thank you for your consideration of these little fellas in need of a home. (The 2 darkest ducks in the older group's picture came from a different situation and already have a home waiting for them.)

Aw, I'm sorry about the muscovies you lost. I do know of a rescuer in Amelia, OH although I don't know if he's looking for homes for muscovies at this time. Email or PM me your email address if you'd like me to try to get you in touch with him. And thanks for your interest. I hope you've been able to identify what happened with your ducks and have any problems solved; it's heart breaking to lose the little darlings.

I have read Bout your rescue before, I wish you could ship, id take them all! We hasve 5 muscovies , 3 died, and im sure wed love more ducks for the pond.

Sure, ill do that later.
We think that they got too wet and froze at night. They were about the age of the older ones, but had breast feathers and were beginning to get their back feathers.

Aw, PoutryQueen, I'm sorry they froze. Poor little guys, it's tough being a duckling!

DuckPan - the older group has been placed but I need to check on the current status of the younger ones. I believe though you and I talked about a group of abandoned ducks earlier this summer and you found we were too far away from you to get them. These guys are just SE of Norman.
