8 new chicks, 1 not eating, bad leg (updated)

Despite my best efforts, she died last evening. I separated her from the others when it became apparent she was not going to make it, so she could die peacefully without anyone walking on her or otherwise making it worse.

Thanks for the help, I tried everything I could, but she stopped eating well yesterday morning and would not eat at all later that day. I feel very bad because I couldn't be there every hour to help her. Next time I order chicks I'll make sure it coincides with some vacation time.

Anyway I'm posting just to say thank you for the help, both in this thread and in the forum in general.

On a more positive note, the other chicks are doing wonderfully, seeming to double in size daily and full of ridiculous antics.
