Hi ! I have 8 pheasant eggs developing and ready for hatch mode tue. In 4 days! I have a forced air incubator and a still air one.. any recommendations? Also humidity temp??? 100% is what I have heard.. temp? Please?

Howdy
Forced air bators are better for eliminating pockets of warm and cool air in the bator. A well designed forced air will have even temps distributed throughout the incubator.
Forced air bators are usually set for 99.5°F. I set mine at 100°F. I have a humidifier and a regulator on all my bators, that way I can set the %RH at whatever % level I choose. I run my bators at 43%RH for 21 days if hatching eggs that have 24 day incubation periods. Raising the %RH to 60 - 65%RH on day 21. If im hatching Ruff pheasant eggs, they have 22 - 23 day incubation periods, I run 43%RH for 20 days, then up the humidity to 60 - 65% RH. I have found that if you go over 70%RH, you will have problems with hatching, from stuck chicks to chicks that drown in the shell. Too high humidity at hatching can also cause crooked toes, due to the fact it takes the chick longer to get out of the shell.

Still air bators will work and have worked to hatch eggs for years. When I use to hatch with them I set my temp to 103°F at the top of the egg. I set humidity at 50%RH during the incubation period. Raised it to 65%RH during hatching.
If you are using an automatic turner, you can turn it off and leave the eggs in the bator, if you don't have a hatcher. If turning by hand, then just stop turning on day 21 or 22.
Hope this helps, if you have more questions feel free to ask, always willing to help!
Best wishes on your hatch! :jumpy
