I really think my blue Ameraucana is a cockerel because of how his tail started growing in differently than my 2 white ameraucanas. My white one in question, however, over the past 2 weeks has deepened red on the comb. White one is a week older than blue. It’s still really hard to tell if single or multiple pea combs on them yet. Maybe I need to look closer this week. And just throwing my golden comet in for good measure. I believe cockerel.

They look like pullets so far. I'd keep my eye on the white one though as the comb is rather red for 8 weeks. Your white one is absolutely stunning!!
Thank you! We have another just like that one, just smaller, but the same age. And that red is what has me questioning for sure! If it turns out to be a rooster, I’m a little concerned because it is definitely the most aggressive of all of the chickens.

I know it’s not the best angle. But I found a picture of my blue Ameraucana tail feathers. About 7 weeks old. And these tail feathers have grown out much longer and turned downward for the past few weeks, where my other two have tail feathers that go straight out. Not sure if that make a difference. But the curved down tail feathers is what got me thinking possibly cockerel. Thanks again for the thoughts on what they may be!

All female. Just so you know, GCs are sexlinked. So it is definitely female.
