Check your hen's face around her eyes. In the picture it looks like she has mites on it.

Mine is slow to feather, What do you use to treat them for mites. He has no tailfeathers!

Permethrin poultry dust and liquid concentrate.

If one bird has it they all have it and there coop.

Here is a picture of the concentrate that I mix with water from TC. You can also purchase it pre- mixed but, it costs a little more. I find I use it for a variety of applications, including flys in the coop.

I gave them a good check over this morning and treated them and no sign of mites They do have white bits on their faces from the new feathers growing.

Good news. Mites can be tricky. I'd treat them anyway, it won't hurt. Better be on the safe side and treat them than loose your chicks to something that was preventable.
