8 week old birb

Hi guys! I managed to hatch out a pea comb bird that doesn't have any red on the wings to tell me if it's male or female. I always have the worst time with comb type I'm guessing its mom is my black hen with the same comb type. It's weird though - she has incomplete lacing and this one is just like a little crow. Their dad was a BLRW, so I'm not sure how I got a crow from that mix.

Yay!! I was really hoping so. The arch to the tail feathers makes me see a boy.

Tail means nothing. Especially in mixes.

Thank you! Pea combs are so difficult for me and I don't know why. The cushion combs most of my birds have is really easy to tell (as with the dark blue + red boy) but I hardly have any pea comb babies.
