It's a little early to tell, but I'm leaning cockerel because his comb is rather red.

NICE feather feet, though. Can you keep him for breeding?

Thank you, no wouldn’t be able to keep for breeding as only have 1 and have close neighbours that may be unhappy. The farm I got them from said they will take them back to find a good home if boys.x This one is called Mars And is such a gorgeous chic. Going to be so sad to split them up x

Wait a little while until you are certain that he's a cockerel. He's really cute and should have a pretty mellow disposition.

Yeah true we have chickens and learnt some things but most of us aint experts we just telling u wat we think pls dont make any decisiona just yet as they so young could end up being a pullet xx

My experience is severely limited, but I suspect that Brahmas are particularly stealthy about revealing their sex and would be reluctant to do anything about them until they either crow or lay. :)

I was about 80% sure that Rosemary was a hen until a week after I processed The Red Boys -- at which point Marion crowed and I had an in-town rooster. ;)

I currently have Omelet, who had a bright red comb weeks ago but who, at about 11 weeks now looks almost exactly like Dumpling in terms of comb size and color. Time will tell. :)
