8 week old chick collapsed

one of my chicks collapsed. It’s been very hot. The chick can not stand. Any ideas what might be wrong?. It eats and drinks a little but has to be hand fed.

Could be heat exhaustion.
Mix 1tspn of sugar into 1 cup of warm water and get 1/4 cup or so of that into her.
If you have anything like Nutri-Drench that would be good to give to her too.

Most definitely heat exhaustion, is there shade on your run? Give them plenty of water in shady areas and freeze some water bottles and lay them in shady areas for them to lay on. Keep evryone as cool as possible so no one else collapses!

yes there is shade but even then, the sun gets through in spots. Great idea about the water bottles, thank you.
