8 week old chicken won't walk

I buy my feed and chicks at Theisens. I buy layer feed for my adult chickens and starter feed for the chicks. They are Nutrena products.

Her leg is just there. When I pick her up and put my hand by her feet, one foot will grab my finger, the other wont.

Her appetite is good and she drinks well.

I miss spoke about the feed. I do feed medicated starter\grower in the red bag not layena. I've just been giving them electrolytes and a antibiotic in their drinking water everyday When we get home from work we put some in a syring and make sure they are getting some of the water. They can eat and are because I put it right in front of them I'm just not sure they are getting enough water so we give them some, they always perk up afterwards. One is up and walking the other is still not able to control either leg. Sounds like your apple cider vinegar is working. I've always heard apple cider vinegar is good for a lot of things. Good Luck!!

She is still favoring her one leg, but she is up and hopping around better. I'm not sure if time or the molasses/cider vinegar is doing the trick. I'm still going to keep an eye on her. She has a very good appetite and seems quite social with the other chicks.

I do use the medicated grower feed for them. It is what I have always done until they are fully grown.
