8 Week Old Chick's First Crow

    This is the first time we have heard any attempt at loud clucking and crowing from our chicks. They are approximately 8 weeks old.     Yes, we agree they are cute! Though there are two crowing, we think one may be a hen. What is the probability of this?

    So cute! One of my hens has learned that crowing gets results and when she wants attention will belt it out almost as loud as a rooster. Looking forward to seeing more of your lovely flock :)

    My little bantam rooster wouldn't crow untill two or three weeks after he was fully grown. I'm also just starting BYC so I am still trying to find my way around.
