8 week old chicks

i have 30 1 yr old hens, i"m looking for advice on when and how to introduce my 6-8 week old chicks to the flock

This is difficult. It is best if you can keep them next to each other with a wire screen/fence between them for at least a few days. I would wait a while for the young ones to be more equal in size. It is important that they have plenty of room with hiding spots to escape once you do combine the two groups and then watch them for any excessive pecking or abuse. Good luck!
