Hi I’m new to Guineas. I have 10 that I hatched 8 weeks ago.. yesterday 3 were very lethargic, puffed, with their necks “turtled”... this morning I found 1 had died overnight. Any suggestions?
They are penned outside, roost overnight, I’ve been feeding them medicated chicken feed since day 1 and started adding A bit of chicken layer pellets a week or so ago .. I toss in grass clippings, and cut up cucumbers from my garden. The other 7 seem extremely healthy...

Layer feed at 8 weeks old is too soon for guinea keets. The high levels of calcium can cause kidney problems. Chick starter from the beginning was the inappropriate feed as they need a high protein turkey or game bird starter that has the higher levels of lysine, methionine and niacin for proper development.

are you giving them chick grit with the grass clippings? do they have access to grit or small stones?

may need some for healthy crops if they eat grass clippings and cucumber

not sure about cucumber but should be ok, I would think

I hope it is not an infection that spreads - so sorry you lost one
