8 week old Khaki Campbell with angel wing? Yay or nay?

Hi folks. Not sure if this little guy/gal has angel wing. I’ve never had a duckling with it, so never I’d never dealt with it before. Appreciate input.

After the amount of poo that came out of this one getting wrapped last evening.... I’d just assume avoid if not necessary. Never mind the stress on the duck!

it is only the left wing btw. Tried vet wrap with medical tape over it. Lasted until mid morning then Houdini got out of it. Researching other methods if this is to continue.

Had one of my girls develop angel wing in her left wing too around this age. Strangely enough, only about 2-3 days of wrapping (when she didn't get it out) managed to fix it.

Thanks everyone. I wrapped up the little burrito last night and he’s still in the wrap so far today. I feel bad seeing that we are having a heat wave and it means no pool. just water bowl baths. Six days to go, and I hope that will be enough.

Update 8/13: after 5 days of treatment, I can’t tell which of the four khaki‘s I need to catch anymore without VERY close inspection. And only because I can slightly tell it was wrapped earlier.

I would unwrap it for a few hours each day for some stretching and swim time before time to go in for the night, and re-wrap. Plus, it needed to be redone anyway.

I also found that taping the upper and lower ends of the vet wrap worked best. Then I order a chicken/duck harness (I know) and used the folded cloth combo with it (check YouTube), and that worked the best! I think it was much more comfortable on the duck as well.

Anyhow, I’m not wrapping him up tonight and will re-assess in the morning. He was so used to it he’d just let me do my thing, lol. But still gives me the stink eye when I walk in the pen.
