8 week old peachicks. Peacocks or peahens?

We have a young peacock the same age as yours. Last week I thought male because of the barring. Now it is getting green on the back of the neck and white on the chest.... just like it's mother. My wife says I made this same mistake the last time we raised a peafowl chick and it turned out to be a male.

Mine have green showing on the back of the neck...but since they are Spaulding I am not sure if that means it is a hen or just coming from the mix of green blood. Does that usually mean it is a hen even if it is Spaulding?

No. Pictures do not do these hens justice. Yes, they have some Spaulding in them but this shows you how that will affect the color. Are the necks blue or green?
