Mine have green showing on the back of the neck...but since they are Spaulding I am not sure if that means it is a hen or just coming from the mix of green blood. Does that usually mean it is a hen even if it is Spaulding?We have a young peacock the same age as yours. Last week I thought male because of the barring. Now it is getting green on the back of the neck and white on the chest.... just like it's mother. My wife says I made this same mistake the last time we raised a peafowl chick and it turned out to be a male.
