1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
French Black Copper Maran, 8 weeks old
2) What is the behavior, exactly.
Seems normal
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
Pooped this out this morning
4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
I have younger chicks in a separate enclosure that we have been treating for coccidiosis. The 3 other pullets she's been with seem okay.
5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
No
6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
We recently introduced the pullets to our four older hens and they started to free range outside with them while supervised and for just a small period of time for the past 3 days.
7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
Eating chick feed by Kings and snacking on meal worms.

8) How does the poop look? Normal?
Bloody? Runny? etc.
Had a small piece of normal looking poop and then also this yellow tinged rubbery piece. No smell, but when opened was red tinged and grainy. Pooped out with clear fluid.
9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
None
10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
Would prefer to treat at home by ourselves if possble
11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
They have been in a play pen inside to sleep with hemp bedding. Spends the day outside in an enclosed setup with food, water and shade.
