1. hen ?Hi! I currently have 9 silkie chicks ages 7-8 weeks. Is it possible to determine gender at this age? 5 of them are partridge and 4 are white. Thanks!

Oh! I hope at least one is a hen. lol. One looks like a hen ( to me). Specifically number 6. The other 2 are certainly roosters. Not sure about chick 4. He is very curious and his new trick is to bunny hopAll mine that looked like those were roos! This morning my silkiest Ry Anne crowed!![]()
( yes he does that). When he hatched I had to pull him out of the incubator because he got over-excited about another chick that hatched and he jumped all over her. I thought roosters are usually more curious than hens. Like, I do have curious hens but my little cockerels are always more curious. Am I right?
