Hi, I have 14 sumatra babies about 8 weeks old. A few days ago one of them appeared to be lagging behind the group and seems to be a bit fluffed up and has her/his neck scrunched in between the shoulders. It eats although not as aggressively as the others. I picked it up and looked at it's poop shoot and it apears fine. It's been 4 or 5 days now and the rest still seem fine. They free range all day and are in at night. They get chick starter and scratch. and fresh water twice a day. Never runs out. They live amounst my horses and have been seen scratching around in a poop mound. My horses will be wormed soon, another worry. I was told that certain wormers are bad for my dog who eats poop. Must be for the chickens too. This little blue sumatra doesn't seem to be getting any worse, but not any better either. I'm lost...please advise.
