I have 7 chicks, they're not overly friendly, raised by a broody, so hard to get pictures, there's a couple I'm really unsure of, both gender and breed lol. So I'm pretty sure the black one in

front of the gold is a roo, i'm not sure on the gold though.

Then I'm also not sure on the light grey here, gender and breed again, although tending towards roo, you can see more feathering on the gold here too.

thanks!

The blue chick in front of the gold looks to be a rooster, I agree. The blue looks to have Cochin (but no feathered legs).

I think the black chick may be a rooster too. Maybe some Cochin as well.

The white columbian birds....it is hard to bring your photo in close up enough, but those don't look to be single combs???? They almost look pea or maybe modified single/pea. I would say Light Brahma, but no feathered feet. I think they are pullets though.

As to the buff/blue...that has a rose comb...that looks to be a blue laced red Wyandotte.

But...I think they are mostly mixes.

Where did you get the eggs?

BTW...congratulations on your broody hatch.

Thanks :)

They were bought as day olds from a breeder, the light ones are single combs, definitely light sussex. The wyandotte is what I was expecting, so that's good lol, hen or roo? Still not sure.

The other breeds I thought I was getting were a splash, blue and black australorp, and 2 auracuanas, but I really don't think there are any of them in there, no ear muffs in sight.

Might go out there tonight when they're dopey and try and get some decent photos with the flash, there are two others not in the photos, but I'm pretty sure on their genders.
