8 weeks chicks cry after i leave them !?! What do i do ?!?

Ok i will remove the night light and see if thats whats wrong and i will watch my nightly TV shows in another room. There diapers are only on when they run around the house and not when there in there pen. They are fully feathered and are already the size of my friends bantams so they are not small chicks. Thanks for all the replies i will try to see if its a light problem. They are LOUD peeps they have feed 24/7 its a mix of chick starter and chick grower feed and they have chick grit in a small cup and they have a waterer so i think it has to be a light issue i guess i will find out tonight.

Are you sure they are 8 weeks old, if you just got them? I have mine in my brooder with a 40 watt light on 24 hours a day, and they dont peep loudly.

According to the person i got them from they hatched out exactly 8 weeks ago yesterday. So I think I just need some more chicks for company I am trying to find some more chicks so they will no feel alone. I guess we will see if the changes will help and if i can find some more chicks to quarantine so i can have a little flock.

Wear a bra to bed, sleep sitting up and stick them in your clevage. I heard they'll sleep like babies then!
