8 weeks old now!

Hi! I just got home from a 9 day vacation and was so surprised at how much they grew! They look like real chickens! They're 8 weeks old and I am going to switch them over to pellet food, but their are so many options I don't know which one to buy. What would you guys suggest?

Also when can I start calling them chickens instead of chicks?

They are pullets until they reach point of lay as far as I know. I don't usually switch to pellets until they're full grown but I don't have any reason for that except that all my chickens seem to prefer crumble

You could give them all-flock pellet if they're big enough to handle whatever size the pellets are, but they're way too young for any layer formula. A chick is a chicken from day one. For the first year they're cockerels or pullets, after that, they are hens or roosters.
